JT O’Savior clinched a spot in the playoffs, along with two other teams in the Winners league, by defeating Jagz 120-73.

The win puts O’Savior back as the top seed of the fantasy playoffs, although based on results from the last few seasons, this is by no means a guaranteed championship victory.

O’Savior must remain vigilant and choose which members of its staff to start each and every week to make this postseason a memorable one.

Brady’s Butt Chin is in danger of falling out of contention after its 56-49 defeat to CAPT. BARBOSSA. The loss puts the Chin in fifth place, last one out in the casual league playoffs.

However, there is still hope as there are two 8-5 teams that must lose as Brady’s must win in week 14 in order for the Chin to make the playoffs.

BestTeamEver defeated The Fighting C-Rings 83-73, guaranteeing a non-losing regular season, although it may be too-little too-late to make the competitive league playoffs.

The Team sits at 6th place, tied with three other teams at 7-6. At this point, it looks like the BestTeamEver scored too few points when it got blown out in the first five weeks of the season.

Plz retire Al Davis lost 114-82 to Sauga stripes in an immaterial battle for first place in the competitive league, as both teams have already clinched a playoff spot.

Nevertheless, stripes’ owner still felt the need to gloat on the matchup’s message board, saying, “PEYTON MANNING [expletive-deleted] U,” in reference to the Indianapolis quarterback’s grand total of three points in week 13.

And so, the euphoria of having all four teams win in the same week is over just like that. Week 12 was the polar opposite of week 11 in that all four of my fantasy football teams found remarkable ways to pull stinkers in their respective games while each of my opponents somehow all seemed to own New England Quarterback Matt Cassel, New England receiver Randy Moss or Dallas receiver Terrell Owens, each of who scored around 30 points.

JT O’Savior ended up facing Team Mitz, who had ALL THREE aformentioned players. The matchup was not close and O’Savior lost to a ridiculous 194-89 mark.

With second-place Jagz losing in week 12 as well, the top four positions in the Winners’ league is now muddled up with everyone having identical records of 8-4. JT still holds the top spot by virtue of the total-points tie-breaker.

Plz retire Al Davis fell by blowout margins as well, for its first loss in eight games, losing to Goat Ranch 116-42. Ranch had the help of Owens’ 27 points to get the win.

Davis’ loss is inconsequential however, as it has already clinched a playoff berth in the competitive leauge.

Brady’s Butt Chin’s playoff hopes took a serious blow this week, as it fell 104-53 to Cougars (I’m beginning to hate ANY team with that nickname…) . Brady’s now falls back to fourth place in the casual league.

The Chin suffered at the hands of Moss and Cassel as well, although with Cassel, it was my mistake for starting Cleveland quarterback Brady Quinn instead of Cassel. It would have been a useless 34 point swing anyway.

BestTeamEver, having survived an 0-5 start, fought the good fight but now faces a very real possiblity of missing the playoffs despite the tight team standings in its competitive league. The Team certainly didn’t help its chances by getting creamed 116-41 to Viet Boys.

Like a prodded sleeping dragon, JT O’Savior roared back into first place in a big way, defeating its hapless week 11 opponent Awesome Foursome 111-74.

Perhaps O’Savior’s week 10 defeat at the hands of Dawgpound, dropping JT into second place, was all it needed to realize first place in the Yahoo! Winners league is not a birthright.

The revitalizing win sets O’Savior up well for its final three tilts against playoff contenders Team Mitz, Jagz and NyStoners420 to round out the season.

Across the leagues in the competitive divisions, plz retire Al Davis became one the first two teams in its league to clinch a playoff spot. Davis defeated StrikeForce25 86-61 in week 11 to remain in first place.

The 9-2 Davis has become unstoppable despite obvious holes at wide receiver and potential weak spots if running backs Brandon Jacobs of the NY Giants and Brian Westbrook of the Philly Eagles go down with injuries.

After languishing in fourth place for a few weeks, Brady’s Butt Chin has risen to third place in its casual league after beating Big Blue 08 120-96.

The Chin is in a four-way tie for second place at 7-4 and obviously needs a few wins in order to secure a spot in the playoffs. Big Blue 08 is in first place at 8-3 and sixth place Powderpuff Fooseball is not far behind at 6-5.

Even BestTeamEver managed to pull off a surprise victory over Zzyzx Road 66-61 to pull above .500 in its competitive league.

The Team is now back in the hunt for the playoffs after being virtually out of it since hte beginning of the season. It finally rose up to sixth place after spending what seemed like eternity in seventh.

After looking invincible for the first six weeks of the season, JT O’Savior now appears to be shot in the heel by Paris of Troy. O’Savior has gone 1-4 since being 6-0 and lost its first-place standing in the Winners league to Jagz – and by a one-point tiebreaker.

JT’s latest loss came at the hands of Dawgpound, an 81-75 loss that was very winnable for JT if its owner had started Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb (21 points in week 10) instead of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers (5 points in week 10).

Conversely, plz retire Al Davis had an opposite turn of fortune, starting the season 1-2 and then winning seven straight games. Davis has been sitting in first place in its competitive league for several weeks now.

Davis’ latest game was a 93-85 win over the Cleveland Browns (it might as well be the real Cleveland Browns judging from its record).

Whereas Lady Luck seems to have forsaken JT O’Savior, she showers plz retire Al Davis with fortune sprinkles week in and week out. Davis also started Rodgers in week 10 and was also rewarded with his five-point stinker, but the Browns received goose eggs from wide receivers Steve Smith and Chris Chambers to pave the way for yet another Davis victory.

In other news, Brady’s Butt Chin hung on to its playoff spot in the casual league, defeating 219Lysholm 93-89. If Houston wide receiver Kevin Walter can continue to deliver double-digit points every week, Brady’s should have no trouble making the playoffs.

BestTeamEver continues to make a fantasy football comeback no one is paying attention to. The Team defeated HEAVY HITTERS 90-84. Its four-game winning streak extended to a five-game winning streak in week 10, giving the Team a .500 record for the first time this season. BestTeamEver has now moved from seventh place to…seventh place!

With the win, O’Savior was able to hold off T-DOT – who O’Savior lost to in week eight – for first place in the league by virtue of a total-points tiebreaker.

Meanwhile, plz retire Al Davis narrowly defeated The Tactician in an under-whelming showdown between two teams tied for first place.

Davis held off Tactician due largely to double-digit scoring efforts from Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning (20 points) and New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs (17 points).

After climbing back to the top four a week ago, Brady’s Butt Chin fell flat on its metaphorical face again, losing to current first-place team The Chalk. Brady’s lost decisively 101-75, ensuring no controversy as to who was the better team of the week.

Brady’s still remains in playoff position in fourth place, but at 5-4 after losing Chicago quarterback Kyle Orton to injury, the team is in precarious position after starting the season 4-0.

It needed a big Monday night performance from Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning, but plz retire Al Davis got it and went on to defeat moss attack 4 102-96. Davis is now in a three way tie for first place, with the lead by virtue of a total points scored tie-breaker.

Davis’ run of close wins has become a momentum freight train, much like Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis’ mental slide toward senility. The fantasy team Davis has a big matchup this week against fellow 6-2 team The Tactician, and this game could have playoff implications at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, JT O’Savior is finding out what it means to play in a Yahoo! Winners league. O’Savior lost its second straight matchup to T-DOT; falling to 6-2, but still retaining first place in the league.

O’Savior gave a bi-polar performance in week eight, with several players having career days and several others having days they would probably like to forget. T-DOT’s players on the other hand, played as was expected of them or better, and that was enough to make a fantasy owner question whether JT is the O’Savior.

Brady’s Butt Chin is back in playoff contention, moving up to fourth place after trouncing a pitiful The Thundering Nerd team.

The Nerd was just awful, scoring only 53 points. Brady’s did not have a good game either; five out of nine players did not play up to their projections.

The Chin has an important matchup this week against The Chalk, who leads the league.

BestTeamEver has won three straight games, with the last one coming against Team T-Bone, which approached the matchup like a guy who leaves test questions blank when he turns it in.

It’s over, the undefeated season is over. Not that going undefeated through six games wasn’t a big accomplishment, but injuries and a possible lack of depth at wide receivers may have doomed JT O’Savior, at least for one game.

O’Savior lost a 79-75 heart-breakerto a mediocre Experimentalsteam, ending the dream for a perfect season. However, this loss was more about under-performing players than a great game played by Experimentals.

Usually reliable fantasy stars on JT O’Savior: Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, receiver Greg Jennings and Indianapolis receiver Reggie Wayne did not perform up to par, netting 16 points between the three.

Experimentals was able to squeak by O’Savior with a 24 point effort from Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson.

JT O’Savior still stands atop the Yahoo! Winners league.

After starting the season in mediocre fashion, plz retire Al Davis has placed itself right in the running for the league championship with an 82-76 win over The Wall. Davis is setting itself up well for the week nine match-up against league leading fantasy team, The Tactician.

In week seven, plz retire Al Davis’s close win was also about surviving rough nights from fantasy stars. Davis proved more resilient and was helped by an 18 point performance from New York Giant running back Brandon Jacobs and 12 point efforts from New England receiver Wes Welker and Minnesota kicker Ryan Longwell.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Brady’s Butt Chin has been in a freefall ever since a 4-0 to start the season. The Chin has tumbled to fifth place and a 4-3 record on a decisive 96-87 loss to McLovin (irish R&B).

The story of this game is that Brady’s players did not perform up to projected standards, while McLovin’s players did.

It’s still early but BestTeamEver may be on its way to respectability. The Team gutted out an 80-78 victory over A.L.S Welder for its second straight win, moving up to eighth place in the league.

Jason Elam, kicker of the Atlanta Falcons, booted 19 fantasy points for JT O’Savior, as the team continues to prove its prowess in the Yahoo! Winners league. O’Savior routed Menace To Sobriety 112-52, thanks to huge efforts from Elam – who had a great day in the real football league as well – and Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers who played through a shoulder injury to net 22 fantasy points.

JT O’Savior continues to win week in and week out, turning what was supposed to be a competitive league into a one-horse race to be the champion of champions.

Meanwhile, plz retire Al Davis has snuck into second place in a Yahoo! competitive league after a 94-71 win over Diablos Warriors. Davis is also quarterbacked by Rodgers, and he too was the leading scorer for Davis on Sunday.

A big effort by Philadelphia’s defense – 16 points – and its backup runningback, Correll Buckhalter – 23 points – made up for weak efforts from Seattle receiver Bobby Engram – 0 points – and Minnesota tight end Visanthe Shiancoe – 1 point.

Diablos got double digit scoring from Reggie Wayne- Arizona receiver Larry Fitzgerald- Cleveland running back Jamal Lewis- and San Diego kicker Nate Kaeding, but not much else.

Davis’ current rise has been a bit of a surprise as the team has few strong points and many weaknesses. It remains to be seen whether plz retire Al Davis can continue its success. This league is currently led by the undefeated The Tactician, who was recently congratulated on the league’s message board.

Brady’s Butt Chin is spiraling downward, losing two straight to fall to third place in a Yahoo! casual league. Brady’s put up a good effort, scoring 95 points in the matchup, but its opponent, Frozen Tundra, had four players scored around 20 points each, resulting in a convincing Tundra win.

BestTeamEver finally got its first win, narrowly defeating pooped in the fridge due to its lackluster effort. The Team will still be hard-pressed to win in the competitive league.

JT O’Savior continued its undefeated streak, rising to 5-0 after squeaking by second place NyStoners420 with a score of 99-90.

O’Savior’s 99 points were due largely to career days from Houston’s Steve Slaton and the Washington Redskin’s Chris Cooley, scoring 21 and 16 fantasy points, respectively. Indianapolis’ Reggie Wayne and Green Bay’s Greg Jennings had good days as well, notching 15 and 14, respectively.

That was enough to overcome monster days from two of Stoner’s top players last Sunday, New Orleans’ Reggie Bush and Houston’s Andre Johnson. Bush used his two punt return touchdowns to score 18 while Johnson had spectacular 131-yard, one touchdown day with 19 fantasy points.

But an equally big story of the day might be Brady’s Butt Chin’s shocking upset loss to PowderPuff Fooseball. Brady’s players underperformed the point that the final score wasn’t close, an 84-52 defeat to PowderPuff.

The biggest duds for Brady’s is at wide receiver, with a combined score of 7, which would be a mediocre score for an individual receiver. The running back stars of San Francisco’s Frank Gore and Buffalo’s Marshawn Lynch also underachieved with scores of 13 and 5, respectively.

All that wasted a potential breakthrough day for Chicago quarterback Kyle Orton, who scored 22 fantasy points against the Detroit Lions.

Credit does go to PowderPuff for great play by its players, however. It’s owner displayed shrewdness (or possibly desperation) by starting Dallas backup running back Felix Jones, who ran his way to 15 fantasy points. Powderpuff was also bolstered by 16 fantasy points from Dallas quarterback Tony Romo-, 14 points from Greg Jennings- and 11 points from Kansas City’s kicker John Kasay.

Hi everyone,

My name is Honsen Lin and I am currently a student at the University of Washington. I am a senior double majoring in conservation biology and journalism. I am a third-year veteran in managing fantasy football teams, with great success in the past, having taken teams to first, second, and third-place finishes.

I created this blog so I can report on the happenings in my fantasy football teams, each with varying success, thus far.

I will do post-game reports each Tuesday after the conclusion of head-to-head match-ups, covering the games in a style as if it were a real sport. There will also be game previews, players transaction coverage, playoff predictions, profiles of players as it relates to fantasy football, and other fantasy-related topics.

At the head of every post-game blog, I will link to the box score of my fantasy teams’ matchups and give a report on what happened. I will also post links to my teams’ rosters if I made any transactions of note.

I will bring in football information from many different sources over the internet, including news reports, columns, and other blogs.

I will introduce my four Yahoo! brand fantasy football teams in a following post.
